Aig du Midi South Face

Aig du Midi offer very quick access to great multi-pitch trad climbs in a stunning scenery and high altitude. The photos are from a few different alpine rock climbs on the south face of Aiguille du Midi. Walking down the famous snow ridge from Aig du Midi cable car station you end up at the bottom of it’s south face, a almost 300m of high granite pillar. After climbing back up you finish at one of the viewpoint balconies. The routes are all high quality, and a mix of cracks, dihedrals and slabs on solide, orange granite. Among the easier lines are the most classic one – Voie Rebuffat.
