In 2000 he completed his UIAGM mountain guide education as one of the youngest in Austria. Today he is a well-experienced guide and skier, who enjoys skiing and climbing more than anything. Additional to his experience in steep skiing and in Big Mountain competitions, he has also been a safety consultant for Match Stick Production filming on focused in Norway.
