Skiing and climbing photos – galleries from adventures and expeditions

In the morning we took the first lift to Aiguille du Mid and then skied the Vallee Noir. Just above Salles de Manger we put on our skins.

Ascending the continuously steep slopes of Glacier du Periades is a pure pleasure and the views are amazing.

After 2 hours of skinning we arrive at the bottom of the couloir leading up to the Breche Puiseux. Skis on the back pack...

...and off we go again.

With the Glacier du Noire in the background...

...we climb higher and higher. In the steep coloir the ice axe comes in handy.

A last little rocky step and we arrive at the col.

Two 30 meters rappels bring us down onto the Glacier du Mont Mallet.

With the Breche Puiseux in the back ground...

....and the Grandes Jorasses to our right we start the descent down the Mallet glacier.

The skiing gets steeper and steeper...

In the end of the Mont Mallet glacier a fun couloir leads us down to the Leschaux glacier.

With the Grandes Jorasses in the background we ski along the Leschaux glacier towards the Montenvers train station.
