Henningsvaer, Lofoten The village of Henningsvaer on Lofoten, well above the arctic circle in northern Norway.
Henningsvaer Celebrations of the marriage between our guide Jimmy and Petra brings us all the way up here to the land of the midnight sun.

trad climbing Gandalf Wall, Lofoten Our first encounters with the solid granite is on the Gandalf wall. Wolfgang on the classic Gamle Räv.
mulit pitch climbing, Gandalf, Lofoten Me on the second pitch. The cracks are lined up next to each other on this 150m high wall and it is all naturally protected.
fishing on Lofoten After climbing we catch our dinner. Small cods like this one goes back in though.
rain on Lofoten However most days during our two weeks on Lofoten looks like this... rain, wind and more horizontal rain...
bouldering Lofoten Luckily the rock dries instantly after rainfall and the days here has 24 hours, so vi can always fit in some bouldering between the showers.

climbing slabs Our last day of climbing we spend at Pianokrakken.
Prästen, Lofoten We look back at Prästen, 600m of famous cracks and slabs, where we got rained off the other day. One day we'll be back to finish it.
