Chamonix heli skiing We did not get any fresh snow for some days. So we decided to do some heli skiing and touring. We are ready to go and the heli is just about to land in Finhaut, just after the Swiss boarder.

Chamonix heli skiing We are now in the air getting great views onto the backside of Le Tour, some of our favourite runs and the coloir du Van.
Chamonix heli skiing Staight ahead we get a good look at the Glacier du Grande and where we will ski later.
Chamonix heli skiing Up high we fly low over the glacier to Trient and...

Chamonix heli skiing ...the heli is on his way back to Sion.
Chamonix heli touring We traverse the plateau du Trient and start skin up to the base of the Aiguille du Tour.
Chamonix ski touring 40min of skinning and we have reached the high point of today. Where is my dad? Tom wondering as he looks back. onto the Aiguille du Dores and where we started from.
Chamonix heli skiing The top slope is very wind effected, good style points for Babtist on his Telemark skis in the difficult conditions. Lots of good skiing ahead of us now!
Chamonix heli skiing Great snow, certainly enough room for fresh tracks and lots of speed for me.
Chamonix heli skiing Tom in action! Arms more forward, Babtist says and...
Chamonix heli skiing ...off he is for some more fun skiing.
Chamonix heli skiing A great long run and lots of fun. Tim skiing, he discovered the word speed newly that day! The faster you go, the less effort it is!
