Camping above Cala Gonone, mid east coast of Sardinia, a beautiful sunrise wakes us up every morning.

We climb a classic route, The Alchimista, starting with a quick swim at the very foot of the wall. Me on the first pitch, 6b.

Eva on the second pitch, 6c+.

The higher we get, the more fantastic view we get over the big blue.

Same view, but less exposed, we've got from our camp site on the small agriculture & goat farm.

Some massive caves offers steep sport climbing in the shade with amazing stalactite formations.

Climbing a 7a in the Millennium Cave.

The afternoon we spend snorkeling in the lively reef below the cave.

Oceano di Mare, 6b+ obl, also rises 200m straight above the sea.

The route follows a vertical line with technical climbing on sharp lime stone. We enjoy every pitch on this route!

Further down south in Baunei we hike early to the walls, avoiding the hot afternoon sun.

Me far ahead on the hiking trail following the steep coast line of Baunei.

The last few days of our trip we drive inland to a whole different environment...

...and climb on the pillars of Jerzu. Returning to Chamonix there are many parts of the island we still haven't seen and many more places to go climb...
