Mounain Spirit Guiding
Last night we sailed all the way from Tromso around the Lyngen peninsular to Havannes. At midnight we arrived savely in the harbour. Further along the coast we started of today in Djupvika in very snowy weather.
We are now on our way towards Storhaugen, skinnig up through the trees in gerat powder.
The higher we get the more it clears up.
More clouds comming in from the ocean. We decide to use the weather window and ski from a smaller summit at about 700m altitude.
Great powder for Tim, the summit is still in the cloud behind us.
Also Jeremy is enjoying the great snow on our first day out.
Lower in the trees the sun comes out first time today.
Great wilderness scenery in the north of Norway.
Life is definately a little slower and more quiet up here in the north.
Back on the boat. Dinnertime!
And maybe a little glass of wine...
