By lunch time the clouds cleared and Dave and I decided to go up the Aiguille du Midi. Dave comming down the ridge.

At the bottom of the arrete we meet Sarah, Peje and Linus. Other then 2 lonly ski tracks disapearing in the cloud we are the only ones.

Great snow! Linus is definatly enjoying himself.

There are still plenty of crevasses early in the season. But the snow is fantastic!

No more clouds, just sun, plenty of cold light powder and us. Some very happy turns for me!

We are the first skiers arriving on the Mer du Glace today. A bit of pushing in front of us, but we had great skiing all the way down!
