It has rained for some days now and we spent most of the time trying to keep our tent dry. But today the forecast is good and we start climbing on the NOSE. The rock is still wet and Eva gets to lead the fist pitch of the day.

It is still cold, but after 5 pitches of climbing we reach Sickel ledge our goal for the day.

We fix 3 x 60m ropes and haul our bags up to Sickel ledge.

The next day we start of early.We jumar up our fixed lines in the dark and by dawn Eva is climbing on the second pitch of today.

The sun is out and Eva reaches the belay.

We have made good progress and are allready high up.I get to clean the pitch, play with the haul begs...

...and Peje gets himself ready for the Stoveleg cracks.

Off he goes, a bit of free climbing a bit of french free...

as quick as possible.

The photographers in the valley are now awake too. while Eva and I get to hang out at the belay they...

...they get some good shots of Peje on the Stoveleg cracks.

I jumar up on the haul line and reach Peje as quick as possible so I can belay him.

Meanwhile Eva gets to clean the previous pitch.

To moove as fast as possible it is important to keep the belays well organized.

At about 1.30 o´clock we reach Dolt Tower.

A short lunch break and from here I get to lead up to El Cap Spire.

Another great shot taken later in the day from a guy with a big tele objektive in the valley.

At about 4 o´clock we reach El Cap Spire. A lot of climbing equipment for a small girl!

While Eva sets of for the last pitch of the day...

...Peje and I prepare our camp for the night.

Dinnertime!

We are now 2 pitches up from El Cap Spire.

...and Peje below us running from one side to the other trying to get over the edge on the right side of the picture..the King Swing!

After at lot of screaming at Peje he made it to the eagel ledge!

Eva and me rapell and pull ourselfs over to Peje.

I lead the next pitches past camp 4 towards the great roof. Here we catch up with the party that set of the day before us.

Today it is very hot, the feet are hurting and every kind of sun protection is welcome.

What a great place! Eva on the great roof.

We are now high up in the Nose.

While the sun sets Peje is cleaning, Eva is climbing...

..and I get to take some pictures.We have got two more pitches left to get to our next bivac.

In the dark we aslo get to pass the team from New Zealand in front of us.

9 o´clock we have reached Camp 5 a small smelly ledge high up on el Capitan.Dinner and bed time!

The next morning we start early, we want to reach the top today!

Eva gets to clean up our camp and Peje the first 2 pitches of the day.

We have now 4 ptiches left. I get a good shot from Peje and Eva on the belay after the changing corner pitch.

A fun pitch for me, some easy aid and some free climbing. 4 more to go!

While Eva is leading the 2nd to last pitch Peje and I are trying to be as comfortable as possible.

I link the last 2 pitches and form the final overhang I get a last look down onto our climb and the second to last belay.

While Eva gets to do some free hanging jumaring on the haulline with a good 1000m of air beneath her, Peje cleans the last pitch.

A little stressed but very happy Eva arrives at the top followed by...

...a happy Peje.

the sun is going down...

The moon is allready out over Half Dome. We have to hurry if we want to make it down today!It can be difficult to find the descent over the east ledges in the dark.

Easier said then done the bags are big and we are tired.

At 8 o´clock we reach the valley floor, time for beer, pizza and shower! Or the shower, pizza and beer? lets see...
