Not exactly perfect weather, but nevertheless we are on the way to climb the Aiguille du Marbree.

On the technical part of the climb. Adrian, Tim and Rob are comming up behind me.

First we dig out the rocks then, then we climb on them.

We have reached the summit. There is just enough room for the 4 of us. But its not possible to step back and take a picture. For the summit photo the camara is hovering above our heads, unfortunately not high enough to get all of us.

Franz, Graham, Kevin and Richard are also cooming up behind us on the final summit ridge.

It kept snowing all day.We are on the way to the Turino hut. You look forward to a hot chocolate Kevin?

The next day Italy is still in the cloud. We head of towards the cosmiques hut in the hope to find some sunshine in France.

Lots of fresh snow from yesterday, but finally right behind me Rob steps out of the cloud!

We always menage to stay just ahead of the cloud. Great views, on the left you see Dent du Geant sticking out...

...and on the right the North face of the Tour Ronde plastered with snow.

The crevasses are big...

...and every now and then we have to cross them over some scary snow bridges.

We walk past the famous walls of the Grand Capucin and...

... the east face of Mt.Blanc du Tacul.
