Mo, 11th Sept. We spent the night at the Cosmiques refuge. Light snowfall in the morning, we are climbing on the Cosmiques ridge.

Wed, 13th Sept. We have left the cosmiqes refuge at about 3.30 in the morning. By dawn we are just about to climb up the steep section on Mt.Maudit.

The sun is rising over the Monte Rosa in the east.

The last few meters of the steep section on the Mt.Maudit we get to climb in the first sun rays of the day.

Just above the clouds we are walking over to the Col du Brenva. Hans and Günter are still in good form!

Finally we get a good look at the top. Soon we will be at the Col du Brenva.

Cold du Brenva. Time for some food and a drink!

Great views down towards Italy!

At about 9.30 I reach the summit of Mont Blanc with Franz and Günter.

20min later Franz, Oswald and Alfred appear on the very long last few meters.

10 o´clock, a very happy team, we all have reached the summit!

All clouds have disappeared and we are on the way down along the Bosses ridge.

On the way down along the Bosses ridge we passed the Vallot bivuac and are on the way towards the Dome du Goutier. Behind us to the right the Bosses ridge and on the very left the Aiguille du Midi and the Cosmiques refuge where we started this morning.

Along the slopes of the Dome du Gutier there is still some fresh powder to be had. We descent towards the Goutier refuge and further down to the Nid du Aigle where we will catch the train back down to the vally...
