Looking back up onto the Col du Courtes and our run.

We climbed most of it during the night.By the first day light we where allready in the upper part.Very excited about the great conditions, Thomas followed by Ritchi and Olav.

At about 7 o´clock we reached the col. Even though we have left the refuge at 1.30 in the morning I am not very awake yet.

On the way up we felt the snow-pack change on the last 30m. We where a bit scared it might slab and sent Thomas atached to the rope on those first meters.

The rope is off and Thomas is getting the first nice turns in. The slope is about 50-55° steep, you do not want to fall.

Carful first turns for me on the wide and steep upper slope.

The snow is perfect!

Skiing in such a place with this conditions is just amazing. Maybe the most fun turns I ever did.
