On the way over we had a blast down under the Helbronner down this interesting couloir. It was excellent skiing right off the lift. No hiking!

Wolfie coils the rope after some dodgy snow bridges at the bottom. you can see the line in the background thanks to the red paint we took with us.

It was south facing and the icicles coming off the seracs were very impressive.

At the bottom of the couloir the seracs hang ominously over you. obviously a good place to stop and get the camera out.
