For months now we have been keeping a close eye on the impressive north face of Dômes de Miage. Until now the 1100m high face has had patches of ice on it, but after all this snow in May it looks well filled in. A Touch of Spring – Chamonix March
Chamonix got a spring feeling during week 11. The snow on mountain south faces started its transformation into corn/slushy snow. North facing slopes up high remained powdery though, and the ski touring in Chamonix has offered many excellent descents.
